TF1 holds the rights to broadcast the UEFA Champions League final for the 2027-28 to 2030-31 seasons. Thanks to this four-year deal, UCL fans in France can watch the UEFA Champions League final on a free-to-air basis, with TF1 replacing M6 for a reported fee of 2 million euros.
TF1's coverage is focused on the live broadcast of the final, while the bulk of the tournament's live games are exclusively broadcast by Canal+.

2025-2028
All UEFA Nations League matches featuring the French national team are aired live on Television Francaise in France. All of these Nations League matches are shown on TF1, meaning fans in France can watch the national team on free-to-air television.
The deal runs until 2028 and includes France’s friendly matches, French World Cup qualifiers and French Euro 2028 qualifiers.

TF1 is a free-to-air television channel in France, owned by Groupe TF1.The channel was launched under the name Radio-PTT Vision back in 1935 and had several other names until it was officially rebranded as TF1 in 1975.
The programming on TF1 is mixed, covering a wide range of genres, including drama, movies, news, documentaries and sports.
In the past, its football coverage has included live international tournaments, including the FIFA World Cup and European Championships. It has also shown live coverage of international friendlies featuring the men’s and women’s French teams.
To watch TF1 in France, users can either access the channel on linear TV through channel 1 on French terrestrial TV or stream it through the TF1+ app.
