De Chinese FA Cup, afgekort als CFA Cup en ook bekend als de Yanjing Beer Chinese FA Cup vanwege sponsordoeleinden, is een knock-outtoernooi georganiseerd door de Chinese Voetbalbond.

Deze competitie werd in 1956 opgericht, maar draait sinds 1995 in het huidige format. Er was echter een lange onderbreking tussen 2007 en 2011, waarin de Chinese FA zich richtte op andere verantwoordelijkheden, zoals de voorbereiding op de Olympische Zomerspelen van 2008. Sinds 2012 wordt het toernooi zonder complicaties gespeeld.

De CFA Cup biedt 26 amateurteams de kans om het op te nemen tegen professionele teams. Het aantal deelnemende teams is in de loop der tijd veranderd, waarbij de editie van 2019 maar liefst 102 teams telde die streden om de prijs.

De Chinese FA Cup wordt gespeeld in negen rondes. In de kwalificatiefase spelen amateurteams voor een van de 27 beschikbare plaatsen tegen professionele teams, afhankelijk van hun geografische regio. In de eerste ronde nemen 27 teams uit de kwalificatiefase het op tegen vijf amateurteams die een bye hebben gekregen. De wedstrijden op weg naar de finale zijn enkelvoudige confrontaties, terwijl de finale uit een dubbele ontmoeting bestaat. De winnaar van de competitie verdient een plek in de AFC Champions League.

Wist je dat? Drie teams delen de eer van het winnen van de meeste Chinese FA Cup-titels: Shandong Luneng, Beijing Guoan en Shanghai Shenhua. Al deze teams begonnen het tweede decennium van de 21e eeuw met vijf trofeeën.
