Mitelefe is a streaming platform available in Argentina that is owned by Grupo Televisión Litoral.The platform provides users in Argentina with a streaming option for all programming produced and aired by Telefe, a free-to-air television channel based in the country.
Telefe's programming has historically been centred around entertainment and news programming. Sports are not frequently shown on the channel, but in 2024, the broadcaster agreed a deal to broadcast Argentina's international football matches live.
In addition to Argentina matches, the channel has also previously owned the rights to Copa Americas and FIFA World Cups. Football coverage is also included as match clips in news broadcasts that air on Telefe.
When football is being shown on Mitelefe, football fans in Argentina can use Mitelife to live stream the programming. They can do this by either visiting the Mitelefe website on a web browser or by downloading the Mitelefe app onto smartphones, tablets and other compatible iOS and Android devices.
Previously aired football matches on Telefe remain available on Mitelefe for a short period of time after they initially air.
