BTV owns non-exclusive broadcast rights in Bangladesh for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The state-owned broadcaster secured the rights to the tournament shortly before it began as part of a wider deal with fellow broadcasters, Somoy TV and T Sports.
The deal means that BTV has the rights to show all 104 from the tournament this summer, including the World Cup final in New Jersey on Sunday, 19 July.
