It has been a slow start to his life at Chelsea but Fernando Torres insisted that the Blues' fans are totally behind him.
Fernando Torres' inability to score a goal for Chelsea since signing from Liverpool last January has sparked global criticism on the Spaniard. Torres has been under severe pressure recently and was even dropped to bench for Chelsea's last two matches.

However, reports have suggested that Carlo Ancelotti might be ready to welcome him back into the starting eleven ahead of tomorrow's match against West Ham and the former Liverpool striker asserted that things will be better soon as he has the backing from the fans.

The Spaniard said: "The club has enjoyed success in recent years and one of the reasons is the fans. I feel the support from them - they are being patient with me.

"I've signed for five years; I have a long time here, so it's nice to have these fans behind you.

"When I signed my contract it was with the expectation that it could be the last top club I'm going to play for. It's probably my last chance to achieve everything I want for a big club.

"The majority of this team have been together for at least the last three years and they know each other very well. It's my job now to know them."

Torres will definitely be aiming to break his goal scoring duct with Chelsea soon and the faster it happens; the better it will be to both Chelsea and Carlo Ancelotti.
