The uniform is inspired by the Catalan flag with the red stripes and a golden yellow background. Players names and numbers will also be redesigned.

Barcelona could not wait to reveal how their uniforms for next season look like, even before this season is over. Most of the colors remain intact, but it is easy to spot some differences in how the stripes both home and away kits are placed.

The second strip is inspired in the Catalonia flag that players usually hang around their neck at the end of a game. The designers wanted to show how proud the team is to represent the region of Spain which has even tried to separate itself from the rest of the country.

The "Senyera" is the name of the flag from that region and what NIKE based their design on. The golden background is the primary color of this new uniform. There are also four red vertical stripes found on the back of the shirt, just like in the Catalonian flag.

The home kit has a more traditional look. The blue and red lines will remain almost intact from this season to the next. The difference is that now they will be horizontal. The flag from Catalonia will be represented in the neck of the new jersey, while the second kit will have the colors of the  first uniform around the neck.

For both jerseys, there will be slight modifications in how the names of the players and their numbers appear. They will be sharper and thinner to match with the innovations of the new uniforms. Also, you can expect to see a golden yellow model with a blue strip on the sides along with golden yello socks for the second uniform.
