Living in Mexico, you have to love football. I learned to do that since I was six, and writing about it has been one of the greatest things I’ve experienced. I had the chance to play the game when I was younger, and that’s why I follow certain teams around the globe. I’m a huge Real Madrid and Arsenal fan, and when it comes to the Mexican league, there’s no other team for me than Club America, the winningest team in Mexico.I started to specialize in European football a few years ago, when I was in charge of the international football section on a TV show I worked for. Following football for so many years, both as a fan and a journalist, I will always say that there has been no player that I’ve liked more than Zinedine Zidane, while I enjoy the current antics of Cristiano Ronaldo and Mesut Özil.
Away from football, my hobbies include music, movies and running.
