Sporty TV holds free-to-air rights for the Argentine Primera División under a deal with Argentina Football Distribution (AFD), the commercial arm of the Argentine Football Association. The agreement runs until the end of the 2026 season. The contract allows Sporty TV to broadcast two matches from every league round, always featuring Boca Juniors and River Plate.It also authorizes the channel to air highlights of those games in related programs and news shows. Live matches are shown on the Sporty TV channel, while highlights are also available on its digital platforms. In addition to league fixtures, the agreement includes coverage of the Copa de la Liga and Copa Argentina, again with Boca Juniors and River Plate guaranteed. In total, Sporty TV is permitted to broadcast 89 matches per season.
To watch Argentine league games, viewers need to subscribe to the StarSat pay-TV system. For mobile streaming, the Sporty.com app is available on Android devices, while coverage in South Africa is also accessible through the StarTimes ON app.
