The Serb has finally sealed his dream move to Turin and will wear the shirt of the club's most recent stars.

Dusan Vlahovic has inherited Cristiano Ronaldo's No.7 shirt after completing his move from Fiorentina to Juventus. The 22-year-old striker was unvield as a Bianconerri on Friday, with the club's official statement confirming his a four-and-a-half-year deal in a $89.2M move.

Juventus and Fiorentina had been negotiating a fee for Vlahovic for some the past few weeks before agreeing on a settlement on Tuesday. The Serb, who wanted to move to Turin, had just a year and half remaininig on his contract, and La Viola wanted to sell him this month to maximise their profit. The player burst onto the scene last season for the Serie A club, scoring 21 goals in 40 appearances. This season, he has maintained his remarkable form, scoring 20 goals in 24 games across all competitions.

North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham were also keen on securing the service of the 22-year-old but were unable to meet Fiorentina's asking price and were also not preferred destinations for the player. Juve's $89.2M deal for Vlahovic will see them pay an initial $78M to Fiorentina over the next three years and they will also pay $11.1M (£8.3m) in performance-related add-ons.

Vlahovic will receive a gross salary of $7.8M per season - a total of $35.1M for the duration of his contract. The striker who matched his idol Cristiano Ronaldo's record for most league goals in a single year in Serie A last year will don the former Bianconeri's vacant No.7 shirt.
