The names of the teams that will play the title match will be known on Wednesday. Here's how to keep track of both fixtures.

We are only three games away from knowing the identity of the 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup winners, and this week's matches will help to shape the title match set to be played during the first days of June.

Last week's games left everything to play for, although two of the teams involved managed to get some sort of advantage for the return legs, which we will analyze a bit later.

It is proper to reveal that the final match is yet to be scheduled due to an exceptional cause. Originally, the game was set to take place on June 2, 2024, but the involvement of three Liga MX teams has put additional plans on hold. Presidential elections will take place in Mexico on that day, and in order to avoid any interference, Concacaf has decided to wait before the official time and date are revealed. As things stand, the game is set to be played in Mexico, so a new date may be announced once the names of the title contenders are known.

Without further ado, let us give you a heads up on how things will unfold this week. Keep in mind that the away goals rule is still used in this competition as a tiebreaker. If that is not enough, extra time and penalties will be used to determine the winner of each tie.

Pachuca vs América: These Mexican teams continue with their heated rivalry both in Liga MX and in international competitions, but this time their run-in away from the domestic league will be sorted out with Los Tuzos as hosts. The first leg of this clash ended in a one-all draw, which seems to give Pachuca an advantage. Nonetheless, any draw taking place with two or more goals for each side will give América the ticket to the final. Additionally, Pachuca's scheduling conflicts may force the team to choose which competition they want to win the most, as they are involved in Liga MX's play-in stage, which will take place on Thursday. So, as things stand, it seems that Pachuca have the lead, but it could be América who have the upper hand due to external issues.

Monterrey vs Columbus Crew: The first leg of this matchup ended with The Crew claiming a 2-1 victory over Monterrey, who saw their perfect record in the competition coming to an end. Now, any win or draw will see Columbus reaching the title match for the first time ever, forcing Monterrey to win the tie by two goals if they want to play one more Concacaf Champions Cup final. If the clash ends 2-1 for Monterrey, then extra time and penalties will be used to determine the winner of the tie.
