The Swedish striker revealed his thoughts prior to joining the French champions back in 2012. He has scored 150 goals for Les Parisiens since then.

Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic gave an interview to the team's website, in which he analyzed the team's chances of success this season, while also looking back into his career with the team from the French capital.

The all-time goal scoring leader for Les Parisiens sees himself as the team's go-to guy, having arrived in 2012 and being recognized as the most influential player in the organization.

"I feel I have a lot of responsibility. Before I came here I knew it would be a big challenge for me because the club wanted to do something great, something big. I knew I would make history with this club, so that is what I'm doing still. When I change club or stop playing football I will sit down, lean back and say 'I was part of that project', so for that I'm very happy," Ibrahimovic stated.

The Swedish ace has scored 123 goals for PSG during his three and a half seasons.

The team will be playing a series of friendly games in Qatar during the French league's winter break. With that in mind, Zlatan revealed what benefit can come out of these games.

"We've had a good preparation every time we were in Qatar. It has also brought luck to us, because we have been winning trophies and we want to continue with this tradition," the player added.

Finally, Ibrahimovic shared his thoughts about the team's chances in the UEFA Champions League, and how winning that trophy seems to have eluded him as time's gone by.

"I still have the possibility to win it. I have a great team and the dream is to win the Champions League for this club and that is one of my objectives, to win of course. Let's see what happens this year, and if I don't win it, I will still be happy with what I have achieved," the player concluded.
