This week features more UEFA Women's Champions League matches, plus the quarter-finals of the NCAA women's soccer competition, and more.

For fans in the USA, it is set to be a very busy weekend due to the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. But just because many people are on a mini holiday does not mean that football has stopped - far from it.

Here is all you need to know ahead of another week of women's football.

What to watch in women's football: November 23 to November 26

FA Women's League Cup

There will be two games in the FA Women's League Cup taking place on Thursday, November 23rd. First up will be a clash featuring Arsenal, who are the competition's reigning champions, traveling to face Southampton, who are currently on top of their group and will look to use their home pitch advantage to the fullest. Then, it will be a battle starring second-tier sides Durham and Sheffield United. At the moment, Durham sit on top of their group, while Sheffield United have yet to pick up a single point after a difficult start.

UEFA Women's Champions League

Thursday also features more UEFA Women's Champions League matches with four great games on tap. Ambitious side PSG will battle German heavyweights Bayern Munich, with the match being available to watch at 12.45 pm EST on DAZN USA for fans based in the United States. The streaming provider will also be covering Real Madrid's away match against Scandinavian side Haaken (with a kick off time also at 12.45 pm EST).

Then, at 3 pm EST, it's another double header, with the Chelsea vs Paris and Roma vs Ajax matches being also live-streamed on DAZN USA.

NCAA

With reigning champs UCLA already out after a shocking 1-0 loss to UC UC Irvine in the first round, the 2023 NCAA Division I women's soccer tournament will have a new champion this year. Eight teams now remain in the battle for the coveted prize, and the action kicks off on Friday, November 24th with a triple header featuring Nebraska vs. Stanford, Pittsburgh vs. Florida State, and North Carolina vs. BYU. The final quarter-final will take place on Saturday as Penn State lock horns with Clemson. All matches can be followed via live streaming through ESPN+ and the ESPN App for viewers based in the United States.

Women's Super League

Sunday will be a very busy day for fans of England's WSL, as all six matches are being played on the same day. Things kick off with struggling Bristol City facing a tough test when they welcome Manchester United, followed by Liverpool vs Brighton, Arsenal vs West Ham, and reigning WSL champions Chelsea looking to stay ahead of the chasing pack as they host a Leicester side who have started to slide down the table.

The day will conclude with two more games featuring Aston Villa vs Everton and Manchester City vs Tottenham in what could be an interesting game as the two sides are separated by just one point in the table.

The next few days are a bit quieter on the footballing scene, but there are still some interesting games coming up.

Here's all you need to know.

What to watch in women's football: November 27 to November 29

CONCACAF W Gold Cup qualifiers

There are also some qualifying matches for the upcoming 2024 CONCACAF W Gold Cup. The tournament was created in 2020 and will have its inaugural edition taking place in the USA in February and March of 2024.

So far, the USA, as hosts, have naturally already qualified, as well as Canada, who secured their spot after winning the CONCACAF Olympic play-off series back in September. Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, and Paraguay will also take part as special guests after finishing in the top four spots in the 2022 Copa America Femenina competition.

With a total of 12 teams taking part, this means that there are six spots up for grabs. As such, there will be a crop of teams involved in looking to secure their spots, with several matches taking place on Wednesday, November 29th. Some big games include Jamaica vs Panama, with the two sides renewing acquaintances after meeting at the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup. That tournament was a historic one for Jamaica, who not only beat Panama 1-0 to earn their first ever competition win, but also made it to the round of 16 for the first time in national history.
