The Spaniard made this confession after securing a second consecutive Premier League title on Sunday.

Pep Guardiola has added another league title to his trophy-laden managerial career. The Spaniard is considered one of the -- if not the best -- tactician to have crossed the game and after Sunday, that school of thought will have likely gained in popularity.

The 48-year-old guided Man City to a 4-1 win over Brighton which saw the Citizens retain their English top-flight crown for a second year running. This was one of the closest title races, with the Etihad side finishing only a single point ahead of Liverpool in the standings.

Pep has admitted that Klopp's side has handed him the toughest competition in his managerial career. However, his latest success does not rank as his favorite title win. That honor goes to Barcelona.

When asked if his latest triumph was the one he enjoyed the most, Pep said (as per Marca): "Well, I wouldn't say that because the first league with Barcelona, when we won 6-2 at the Bernabeu, was incredible for me.

"I was in my first year as coach in my hometown, with the club of my heart, with the club I love the most.

"But this was my most difficult, because of them [Liverpool], because of their quality."

That 6-2 win at the Bernabeu remains one of the Blaugrana's most iconic wins in El Clasico. It is also the day Messi made a name for himself as a false number nine in the eyes of many while also being the beginning for Guardiola's success.

Aguero and Co. are currently celebrating their Premier League triumph but it will be back to work soon as the FA Cup final draws ever closer. The Citizens will take on Watford at Wembley next Saturday in a bid to complete a domestic treble, having lifted the Carabao Cup back in February.
