The Spanish giant is ready to double the former Espanyol man's current salary in order to convince him to make the switch from the English to the Spanish capital.
The Champions League holder will reportedly offer the South American $21.7M per year in a five-year deal which will approximately total $108M. Perez will even allow Mauricio to have a huge say in the club's transfer dealings in order to build his own squad.
