ylian Mbappe's on-the-pitch exploits have translated into off-the-pitch success, with the teenage sensation joining a small list of football players to grace to cover of Time magazine. In fact, only three men in history have done so.

They were Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Mario Balotelli; two of which are considered the best players in the world currently. However, none can deny that the Frenchman is one of the hottest footballers out there.

The attacker has lifted back-to-back Ligue 1 titles in his last two years, one with Monaco and one with PSG last season. Over the summer, he was one of the star men in France's World Cup triumph, reaching a number of goalscoring feats that were set by Pele.

And Mbappe is only 19. It is for this reason that he was hailed as a "next generation leader" by the famous American magazine. The attacker also gave an interview in which he discussed his meteoric rise and how he handles it all at such a young age.

"My life has been totally turned upside down," Mbappe confessed.

"I am happy, and I am living the life I always dreamed of.

I think I might have missed out on something. I did not have the moments of so-called normal people during adolescence, like going out with friends, enjoying good times."

And at a time where he is linked with another mega-money switch to Real Madrid, Kylian identified "respect, humility and lucidity" as three qualities he holds dear.

Mbappe does not look like slowing down anytime soon. He has already contributed to 11 goals in his opening five games in the French top-flight this season, scoring eight and assisting three.

And for his national side, he continues to be an influential attacker. In yesterday's friendly against Iceland, Mbappe came off the bench to spark a comeback, coming back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 thanks to his 90th-minute penalty.

Next up for the Deschamps' men is a UEFA Nations League clash with Germany. France as a team is yet to impress since winning football's biggest prize in Russia, but their 19-year-old sensation will be keen to continue wrecking havoc.
