The Spanish defender has never been close to joining an Italian team, but Sampdoria's funny tweet made fans have a good time.

Spanish center back Sergio Ramos is one of the most respected footballers due to his corageuos defending style, his leadership skills and his timely headers. But he's also one of the most hated players in the world because of the team he plays for, his over-dramatized dives and -believe it or not- his dressing style.

That last reason got him trolled by Italian team Sampdoria earlier today, mainly due to the fact that he looked more like a villain from a TV series than an actual footballer. Added to that, the colors he was wearing resembled those of the team in question, which prompted their prank and saw their post gathering almost 2,000 likes via Twitter.

The player is yet to reply, but we can surely expect a funny or cheeky retort to Sampdoria's statement.
