Liverpool's night may not have ended as they initially believed, but their attack surely had a night to remember against Roma.
The Reds managed to score five goals in the first leg of their semi-final clash against the Giallorossi, with Mohamed Salah having a hand in four of those goals. Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane also wrote their names on the scoresheet, confirming the trident's spot in UEFA Champions League history.
Klopp's men are now the first team in history with three different players scoring at least eight goals in the competition, making them the first team to accomplish that feat.
