Apparently, he’d rather play golf than sit at home and watch.

The Spaniard saw his Manchester City side move a step closer to securing his first English Premier League trophy with a win over Tottenham at Wembley on Saturday. Goals from Gabriel, Sterling, and Gundogan ensured that a 16-point gap was established between the Citizens and Manchester United with five more games left to be played.

Should their bitter rivals lose at home to West Brom on Sunday, the Blues will automatically be crowned as Champions. Nonetheless, although the encounter bears some level of significance, Pep Guardiola does not seem to see it as such.

The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich cited that he'd rather playing golf with his son than sit at home and watch the game.

"The only score I want to know is bogey or birdie," said Guardiola according to the BBC.

"I think United will win. We depend on us." "Will I hear the scores? Bogey, double-bogey, birdie," he added.

"The important thing is to have the chance to win at home. I am delighted to have the chance to win in front of our people."

Manchester City will play at home to Swansea in their next game before going away to Huddersfield in their subsequent game.
