The Argentinean ace became the first player in UEFA Champions League history to score six hat-tricks in the competition, surpassing Cristiano Ronaldo's 5. Messi's goals today got his all-time total to 87, six short from the record owned by CR7.
His third goal of the evening also helped Messi reach another milestone.
