As a result of Leicester City’s one-all draw with Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday, Spurs fans took to Twitter to express their renewed hopes of clinching the league title this season. The Foxes need two more points to be declared Premier League champions, but will have to squeeze those two out of Everton at the King Power Stadium next weekend, or Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge in their last league match of the season.
Spurs, on the other hand, travel to the Stamford Bridge on Monday to face the Blues in a match they must win in order to stay in the title race. A loss to Guus Hiddink’s men will effectively hand the title to Claudio Ranieri’s men on Monday even without kicking a ball.
But the other good news is, Spurs have officially booked a place in next year's Champions League action.
