Times are tough at Valencia, the once Champions League berth challengers turned mid-table side, ahead of their Copa del Rey clash with Barcelona.
Blanquinegros will travel to Camp Nou, a place where they’ve grabbed only one win in the last six years, to lock horns with the reigning league and cup champions on Wednesday.
Gary Neville had only been appointed as head coach until the end of the season in December after the resignation of former manager Nuno Espírito Santo, but is under tremendous pressure as he is yet to win in La Liga after 8 games in charge.

Valencia sit in 12th having suffered an embarrassing 1-0 home defeat to Sporting Gijon, and in the wake of that loss, a video has been compiled to perfectly sum up the club and the Man United’s legend turbulent time.
In a YouTube video posted by El Día Después, which comprises of excerpts from Neville’s pre Valencia vs Sporting Gijon press conference and action from the game, how far the club has fallen from grace is almost perfectly depicted by the frustration of both the players and fans during Sunday’s defeat.
Despite promises from Gary Nevilla to get the fans “happy” and “bouncing” again, the club’s supporters were far from it, as Alvaro Negredo and Co. missed opportunity after opportunity to walk away empty-handed.

Despite the club’s troubles, Neville is upbeat ahead of their Copa del Rey semi-final tie, insisting that he can’t wait to face the Catalan giants.
“I can’t wait for Wednesday night, and I think the players will be the same. These are the moments you live for as a coach and a player,” said the 40-year-old.
