Luka Modric is recovering from a thigh injury suffered last November. If the plan works, he should be back in less than a month.

Luka Modric is not paying any attention to rumors of a setback in his rehabilitation process. Real Madrid’s midfielder affirms that nothing has changed since he suffered a thigh injury in November of last year.

“My rehabilitation is going exactly as it was planned out when the injury was diagnosed,” Modric said in an interview with a Croatian news outlet.

His words confirm the possibility of seeing Modric back in action in three weeks. Lately, some sources mentioned that the Croatia international still had around two months to go in the rehab process.

"I'm very happy with how Real Madrid's medical team have treated me, and I completely trust them,”Modric mentioned.

The player has not only received medical attention in Madrid. He has traveled to Munich, Vitoria and Belgium to be examined by several doctors as part of the plan Real Madrid’s medical staff had anticipated.

“I'm feeling very happy and I'll continue working hard. I'll be back soon," Modric said.

The 29-year-old has played in 64 league games with Los Merengues since signing with the team in 2012. Prior to getting injured, Modric was a regular on Carlo Ancelotti’s starting XI.
