Live streaming and TV options for 2026 season
The pay-TV platform has secured a joint deal alongside Television Jamaica (TVJ) to share coverage of the tournament, which is set to be the biggest in history, with 104 matches taking place across 37 days.
Caribbean Premier Sports’ coverage of the tournament is being housed on Rush Sports in Jamaica. A total of 52 matches are being shown on Rush Sports throughout the tournament, with 52 airing on TVJ for free. Both broadcasters are showing the final on 19 July.
The deal is different to the agreement that Caribbean Premier Sports has in other Caribbean countries, including Barbados, Dominica and Trinidad and Tobago, where all 104 matches are being shown.
Rush Sports’ live match coverage in Jamaica will include English-language commentary and analysis. Veteran broadcaster, Lance Whittaker, will present Rush Sport’s World Cup coverage from a studio in Jamaica.
Beyond live matches, Rush Sports has committed to airing magazine shows, in-depth analysis and highlights throughout the tournament.
Rush Sports’ World Cup coverage can also be streamed through the Flow Sports app, which is available at no extra cost to existing Rush Sports subscribers. This app can be downloaded for free onto iOS and Android devices in Jamaica.
FLOW airs World Cup matches on Bluu, Rush Prime, Rush Sports, Rush Sports 2 or Rush Sports 3.
Thanks to this deal, football fans in Aruba, Curacao, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, and other Caribbean territories can watch and stream all 104 games of the 2026 FIFA World Cup live on DSports (formerly known as DirecTV Sports).
The 2026 FIFA World Cup, set to be held in the USA, Canada, and Mexico, is the first in history to feature 48 teams. This increase in slots per region has allowed Caribbean nations, Haiti and Curacao, to qualify, with Curacao becoming the smallest nation to reach the World Cup finals.
DSports’ coverage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup is available on linear television via DirecTV’s satellite TV service, though a subscription is required.
Live World Cup coverage on DSports comes with match commentary and post-match analysis as standard. Beyond live matches, the network is producing hours of supplementary coverage that includes highlights, magazine shows and news reports.
At the 2022 World Cup, top South American journalists Juan Pablo Varsky, Enrique Macaya Márquez, and Pablo Giralt worked with the channel, and the same could happen again for the 2026 tournament.
Live streaming of DirecTV’s World Cup games is available on the DGO app. The DGO app is available for download on smartphones, tablets, streaming devices, and smart TVs. Furthermore, DGO, the broadcaster’s premium streaming service, is also accessible on PCs and Macs via its official website.
