2026
Norwegian pay-television broadcaster TV2 has agreed a media rights deal with FIFA for the men’s 2026 World Cup. TV2 will collaborate with NRK for their 2026 World Cup coverage and is expected to cover their share of matches live in high definition on television. TV2 is additionally expected to cover World Cup highlights, as well as complementary programming around the tournament.

2021-2026
TV2 has acquired exclusive LaLiga broadcast rights in Norway until 2026. The commercial broadcaster’s contract covers the 2021-22 to the 2025-26 LaLiga seasons. TV2 broadcasts and streams all ten LaLiga games live every matchday (380 games each season). Broadcasts of LaLiga matches in Norway are available on TV2’s linear channels (TV2 Sports 1, TV2 Sports 2, TV2 Sport Premium, TV2 Sport Premium 2), while streaming is accessible using TV2 Play.
Although various options are available, subscribers in Norway who want to stream LaLiga games using TV2 Play should select TV2’s “Total” package to access LaLiga matches and related content on multiple devices. Within the “Total” package, LaLiga fans in Norway can choose an option with or without advertisements. However, the non-advertisement option costs more and does not apply to live streaming of games. The ad-included option comprises approximately 5-8 minutes of commercials every hour before, during, and after events.
LaLiga streams live and on-demand are available on different devices in Norway: smart TVs (Samsung, LG), mobiles and tablets (Android and iOS), streaming devices (Chromecast, Apple TV, Google TV, and Android TV), laptops, and desktops (PCs and Macs). Additionally, subscribers can use TV2 Play throughout the EEA and the EU to watch LaLiga games while travelling outside Norway but cannot access live content outside this region.
