SuperSport is a South African group of television channels available in most African countries. It is owned and operated by MultiChoice and it was launched in 1988 as a segment in the channel M-Net, but it would eventually be transformed into a sports television channel in 1995.
Over the years, SuperSport has established itself as the top sports network in Africa. Some of the sports covered by this channel over the years have included football, rugby, cricket, tennis, golf, motorsport, cycling, boxing, wrestling, hockey, and athletics.
SuperSport Maximo 360 has broadcast the same content as the English versions of the channel but in Portuguese language. This channel has mostly been made available in Portuguese-speaking nations in Africa, but users in South Africa have also been able to watch it over the years.
