It was launched on June 15, 2005 under the name Sky TG24, and its content included shows from the Italian news channel Sky TG24 and local productions that complied with the rules established by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC). It was rebranded to its current name on December 2016.
Mediaset TGCOM 24 is owned by the TLN Media Group, which also owns such channels as Univisión Canada and EuroWorld Sport. Throughout its history, this channel has produced hourly news reports on general information, entertainment, sports, and weather forecasts.
