Sky Brasil is a subscription television service that produces TV content and owns quite a few television channels. It is owned and operated by Vrio, who launched it on November 11, 1996. Sky Brasil is frequently named as one of the pay-tv services in the country with over 5 million subscribers.
Over the years, Sky Brasil has offered a wide range of services to its users, which have gone from offering pay-per-view movies, broadband internet services, an online streaming service for the channels the service broadcasts, and more. Sky Brasil offers a wide variety of channels, including movie channels, general interest networks, cultural channels, and sports channels.
Some of the largest sports networks offered by Sky Brasil have included ESPN, Fox Sports, BandSports, Premiere and SporTV. Unlike many other Sky brands in the region, Sky Brasil is the only one not to have a sports channel of its own due to restrictions by the Brazilian government.
Users will be able to follow all competitions aired by the channels available in Sky Brasil, unless new restrictions apply for incoming users. Tournaments such as the Copa Libertadores, the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and the Brazilian Serie A will all be available to watch via the channels included in Sky Brasil’s different packages.
