About RDS Info

Reseau des Sports is a French-language specialty channel broadcasted in Canada. It is partially owned by Bell Media and ESPN, and it specializes in live broadcasts of sporting events and sport-related shows. The network’s name translates to The Sports Network, which is the name of its English-speaking “sister” channel, TSN.

RDS Info is a Canadian sports channel which specializes in broadcasting sports news and results. It was originally named Reseau Info-Sports (RIS) and saw its launch back in October 21, 2004. The channel was re-named as RDS Info on January 23, 2012.

RDS Info used to serve as an overflow channel to RDS, but since RDS 2’s launch in 2011, the channel’s offer is limited to sports news broadcasts for a number of sports, which include soccer, tennis, football, baseball, motor sports and UFC.

The channel’s re-branding came with a new HD feed for their fans to feast their eyes on. Added to that, there is a SD feed available in some pay-tv services.
