Mitele Plus history, coverage, features
MiTele Plus is an online streaming service in Spain owned and operated by Mediapro. It was launched on July 22, 2019 as a pay-per-view option for fans already using Mediapro’s free streaming service known as MiTele. One of the most appreciated features since MiTele Plus’ launch was the absence of ads on the app, which enriches the viewer’s experience by watching the content on the platform free of commercial breaks.
MiTele Plus can be considered as a general entertainment streaming service, since it offers news broadcasts, sci-fi shows from Spain and abroad, Spanish movies, TV series, talk shows, talent shows, and live sports events.
MiTele Plus has been made available to most regions of the world. In order to access MiTele Plus’ content, users can choose to join the platform via two different packages. Once their payment has been cleared, MiTele Plus’ content will be made available to all users, with its geo-restriction software giving them a chance to access content designed exclusively for their country or region of residence.
In Spain, MiTele Plus gives users the chance to follow their favorite shows on-the-go via a mobile device app (available for Android and iOS users), via Smart TVs, and via most web browsers. Some live events, such as sports broadcasts, might not be available to stream online due to streaming rights restrictions.
Speaking about sports streaming options, MiTele Plus has offered coverage of the UEFA Champions League, along with La Liga games and other sports events featuring Spanish teams or athletes.
