Broadcast Rights

Competitions available on Magenta Sport

Deutsche Telekom (DT) holds exclusive German broadcast rights to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, making MagentaTV the only platform to stream all 104 matches live. The expanded tournament—featuring 48 teams across the United States, Mexico, and Canada–marks the largest FIFA package ever acquired by DT.

As German law requires, DT is expected to sublicense select 2026 World Cup matches, including those featuring the German national team, to free-to-air broadcasters such as ARD, ZDF, or RTL.
More details MagentaTV also offers shoulder content, including 2026 World Cup highlights, match analysis, and AI-enhanced features, to boost the viewing experience. Users in Germany can stream the 2026 World Cup live and on-demand on mobile devices.
Viewers in Germany can stream the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027 live on MagentaTV, Deutsche Telekom’s streaming platform. The tournament, which is hosted in Brazil with 32 teams, is the first Women’s World Cup broadcast by DT.

Per Germany's free-to-air access regulations, FIFA has reserved 30 matches for separate sublicensing to public broadcasters.
More details MagentaTV provides full-match coverage and supplementary Women’s World Cup 2027 content, such as post-match interviews, highlights, and digital-first analysis.

This women’s football broadcast is part of a larger four-tournament agreement between DT and FIFA, which includes exclusive rights to the 2026 FIFA World Cup and both the 2025 and 2027 FIFA U-20 World Cups.
MagentaTV is broadcasting the entire FIFA U-20 World Cup 2025 live in Germany under a co-exclusive agreement between Deutsche Telekom (DT) and FIFA+. The tournament, taking place in Chile, brings youth international football to German audiences via both IPTV and streaming.

All U-20 World Cup 2025 matches are available on MagentaTV, with parallel coverage on FIFA+.
More details DT plans to include highlights, tactical content, and player features in its coverage. The U-20 World Cup rights in Germany are included in DT’s broader four-tournament package with FIFA, which also covers the 2026 and 2027 senior World Cups.
