Astro Go is an online streaming and video-on-demand service owned and operated by Astro and Radio Televisyen Malaysia. The service was launched for existing Astro users who wanted to keep watching content on their mobile devices while on-the-go.
Over the years, Astro users have been able to stream content such as movies, sports, tv series, children’s programming and live television on their mobile devices. The content available on their device will depend on the kind of package they acquired when signing up as an Astro satellite user. Added to their regular programming, Astro Go users may also be able to purchase certain events as pay-per-view content regardless of the package they have subscribed to.
When it comes to sports, Astro Go users have been able to stream content for disciplines such as football, badminton, basketball, hockey, table tennis, boxing, wrestling, mixed martial arts, motorsports, and multi-sport events such as the Olympic Games.
There have been quite a few football tournaments available to be streamed on Astro Go, including the English Premier League, the German Bundesliga, the Dutch Eredivisie, the Primeira Liga, and Asian leagues such as the J-League and the K-League.
