Wojciech Szczęsny has sensationally revealed that he would love to see Claudio Ranieri’s men lift the Premier League title this season. The 25-year-old goalkeeper is on loan at AS Roma in the Italian Serie A. The Daily Star quotes the Polish shot-stopper as saying:
“No one in football can explain the Leicester miracle. Even though I support Arsenal in the Premier League, I’d like to see Claudio Ranieri’s side win it.
“They’re an example and an inspiration to everyone. It’s exciting to watch them play.”
His shocking confession comes at a time when Arsene Wenger’s men are struggling to keep up in the race for the Premier League title this season. However, a disappointing 3-3 draw with West Ham on Saturday dented the Gunner’s title hopes, yet this was their best season to shine given the fact that their fellow Premier League giants Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United were struggling to regain their previous lethal form.
