One more UEFA Champions League night for Barcelona, and one more night full of records for Lionel Messi.

The Argentine ace was able to give Los Culés a momentary lead against PSG with a penalty kick that was highly questioned by fans and experts. But even if it was dubious, Messi found a way to drill the shot into the back of Keylor Navas' net.

Messi's performance in the game was enough to see him claiming two more records to his already impressive resume. The first one of them had to do with the number of times he has scored at least 20 goals for Barcelona. Since his debut, for Los Culés, Messi has been able to score at least 20 times in all comps for the 13th season in a row. Needless to say, no player in history has been able to do so before him.

The other one was a UEFA Champions League milestone, which he has to share with Real Madrid legend Raúl González. With his goal today, Messi was able to score a goal in the continental competition for the 17th straight calendar year, something that only the Spaniard and Messi have been able to accomplish.

Unfortunately for Los Blaugranas, the outcome of the game will not allow Messi to celebrate these feats on a high. On the contrary, the Barcelona ace will need to step up and lead PSG to an epic comeback if they want to reach the next stage of the tournament.
