Utah Royals vs Orlando Pride: One of two new teams featuring in the NWSL this season, Utah Royals come into their fourth match on Friday having yet to achieve consistency so far. They have posted a record of two losses and a win from their first three games, which sees the Royals sitting in 12th spot. Meanwhile, the Pride have yet to win a game so far this season, yet after three consecutive draws, find themselves in eighth spot. Given how congested things are in the table, the Pride could jump a couple of spots if they can earn what would be their first NWSL win of the 2024 season.

Chicago Red Stars vs Angel City: The Red Stars are clearly determined to put their poor showings from last season behind them and have started off the 2024 NWSL campaign on the right footing. Although their perfect start came to a halt as they were held to a 1-1 draw against Orlando Pride, the Red Stars could temporarily leap-frog current league leaders Kansas City Current and jump into first place if they can beat an Angel City side who currently are last in the table with just one point earned so far.
