It is set to be a very interesting reunion for Luis Enrique, as the Spanish tactician, who is currently in charge of PSG, will welcome former team Barcelona for part one of a two-legged quarter-finals Champions League tie. Nine years ago, Enrique guided Barcelona to glory in the Champions League, and notably beat PSG 2-0 along the way. Now, he will hope to do the same with Les Parisiens, a team who have spent big in the transfer market for years, but have yet to get their hands on the coveted prize.

PSG had a rocky group stage campaign which saw the ambitious club finish in a rather disappointing second place in their quartet. However, in doing so, they received a more favorable draw in the round of 16, and had no issues seeing off Real Sociedad 4-1 on aggregate. Although PSG, who are pretty much destined to win the Ligue 1 title this season, were quite poor in their recent outing against Clermont, Enrique's team do come into this match unbeaten in their last 27 games across all competitions.

The French outfit have experienced very mixed results against Barcelona, especially in recent times. Les Parisiens infamously went 4-0 up against the Blaugrana during the 2016/17 round of 16 first leg, which, on paper, at least, appeared to be enough to ensure that they would book the next round. However, Barcelona pulled off one of the greatest comebacks of modern football following a 6-1 win at Camp Nou to end PSG's dreams that year. That being said, Les Parisiens got their revenge in the two sides' most recent meeting, with Kylian Mbappe netting a hat-trick at Camp Nou to win 5-2 on aggregate over two legs in the round of 16.

As such, it is set to be very interesting when Barcelona come to Paris on Tuesday. Mbappe is expected to lead the line, despite the drama that seems to follow him everywhere as of late, which will give Enrique's team the boost they need for this must win tie. The Blaugrana, for their part, have had a disappointing campaign, and now only have the Champions League as their sole chance at silverware. Current boss Xavi, who is set to leave at the end of the season, has seemingly steadied the ship, with Barcelona being unbeaten in their last 11 games across all competitions heading into this match.
