Current form: Monaco vs PSG

Monaco have been in free-fall all season, and despite sacking Leonardo Jardim and bringing in former striker Thierry Henry, things have not gotten better. Les Rouges-et-Blancs come into this game having suffered a humiliating 4-0 home defeat in the Champions League to Belgian side Club Brugge. Last season, this is a team that Monaco would have beaten with ease, but right now, Monaco have become fodder for pretty much any side in Europe.

Injuries certainly have not helped, and Henry is missing nearly an entire starting XI heading into this game due to a combination of injuries and suspensions. That's no exaggeration. The team have yet to win a game since he took over, and are only propped up by Guingamp thanks to a slightly better goal difference; otherwise, they would be sitting in 20th in the table.

PSG, meanwhile, drew Napoli midweek, but have been helped in the Champions League thanks to Liverpool's shocking 2-0 road loss to Serbian minnows Red Star Belgrade. That has really shaken things up in their quartet, which has Liverpool, PSG, and Napoli all fighting for a spot in the round of 16, and Red Star Belgrade are clearly desperate to elbow their way into the party as well thanks to that win. However, in Ligue 1, Thomas Tuchel's side have been dominant, winning a historic 12 games in a row, and will be looking to be making it a (not) unlucky 13 at the expense of floundering Monaco before the international break.

Current position: Monaco vs PSG

It's quite shocking, to say the least to see the contrast in fortunes between Monaco and PSG this season. Last season's runners up are now in the relegation zone, while PSG are still cruising along comfortably thanks to their record breaking start to the season. Will Monaco, seemingly against all odds be able to stop Les Parisiens' runaway train, or will they simply get steamrolled at the Stade Louis II?
