After Wednesday’s shock 4-1 defeat, the Blaugrana’s welcome the newly-promoted side with hopes of rediscovering their winning formula.

After 4 wins out of four games, Barcelona’s perfect start to the new Liga BBVA season came to an abrupt end when the Catalan giants fell to a shock 4-1 defeat to Celta Vigo last Wednesday.

Only Neymar was on target that day, as the loss saw them stumble in the title race, dropping to fifth spot, a point behind league leaders and arch-nemesis Real Madrid.

Luis Enrique watched his side being ripped apart in the midweek trip to Balaidos, a lesson which the Blaugrana boss feels teaches them not to underestimate opponents, claiming:

"The loss in Vigo teaches us how tough it is to win."

This Saturday, Barcelona will play hosts to newly-promoted side Las Palmas, who secured their first win in the league with a 2-0 victory over Sevilla.

However, despite their win, Las Palmas manager Paco Herrera believes Wednesday’s defeat for Barcelona will diminish the traveling side’s hopes of winning at Camp Nou, saying:

"It might be a headache for us, what happened to them. We have a 10 percent chance of winning and we have to hold onto it."

Herrera’s comments were not made lightly. The stats back Barcelona for the win. Las Palmas have made 31 visits to Camp Nou, and have only won twice, their most recent win coming in the 1971/72 season.

The Catalan giants have recorded a whopping 26 home wins over Saturday’s opponents, with 3 games ending in draws, the most recent being a 1-1 tie in 2002.
