Falcao experienced a rather disappointing spell at Manchester United, netting nothing more than four goals in as many as 29 appearances. Far from what was expected from such a mega-signing on a £265,000-a-week deal.
The Red Devils decided not to proceed with the £43.5M buying option. He returned to AS Monaco at the end of the season but will be playing football in England next season -- not in a red shirt this time but in Chelsea's blue jersey.
Having just joined the Blues on loan, the 29-year-old forward declared:
"I am very happy to be joining Chelsea and can't wait to start training and help with our aim of retaining the league title and being successful in Europe."

At Stamford Bridge under Jose Mourinho, Falcao should find back his rhythm and gel well with the group thanks to reunions with Colombian national team mate Juan Cuadrado and ex-Atletico Madrid colleagues Diego Costa, Thibaut Courtois and Filipe Luis.
