ESPN4 Norte history, coverage, features
ESPN 4 is a Spanish-speaking pay-television sports network in the Latin American region. It replaced Fox Sports and was announced at the end of 2021. However, at the time of its launch, it was excluded from the Mexican and Argentinian television market.
The formation of ESPN 4 came as a result of an acquisition agreement between FOX and Disney in Latin America. In both Argentina and Brazil, delays occurred for the approval of the merger, due to regulatory matters. ESPN 4 is also available in the Caribbean region and holds the rights to major football tournaments, which it covers in high definition on various platforms.
