The Commonwealth Broadcasting Network is an English-language television channel formerly known as ATN Caribbean. It was launched on April 9, 2005 and was later re-branded on June 17, 2012 with the name ATN Cricket Channel One, only to take its current name months later. The Commonwealth Broadcasting Network is frequently named by its acronym (CBN) and its main target audience includes Caribbean and African communities living in Canada. This channel is owned by the Asian Television Network.
Originally launched as a pay service, CBN is known as a specialty service since 2012, when it changed its programming to include entertainment shows, lifestyle programs, music, and sports. CBN has aired live and delayed cricket games in the past featuring Commonwealth nations.
CBN is only available on Standard Definition on most satellite, cable, and IPTV providers working in Canada. Check your local listings for further details and availability.
