Son, who turned 31 in July, would also be keen on signing a new contract with Tottenham, which would effectively see him playing with the club until the end of his career. The Korean star has scored 148 goals in 377 apps for the North London side, good enough for the sixth spot among scorers in Tottenham's history.
Keeping Son around will give fans a huge boost in confidence, especially since he is one of the few links left betwen the current version of the club and the one that reached the UEFA Champions League final in 2019.
