TV4 is a Swedish broadcaster for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Sweden, with selected matches shown on TV4 and streamed on TV4 Play. Coverage is shared with SVT, and the full 104-match tournament is available free-to-air in Sweden across the two broadcasters, with TV4 also using TV4 Play for live streaming, highlights, interviews and clips.

Telia-owned TV4 Media has acquired Swedish rights to the UEFA European Championships, for both the 2024 and 2028 editions. Commercial broadcaster TV4 will air live Euro 2024 and Euro 2028 matches on television in high definition, with live streams expected to be available on its digital service. Viewers may expect auxiliary programming to complement the match broadcasts.

Telia’s TV4 Media has extended its exclusive LaLiga media rights in Sweden and Finland from 2021 to 2026 following a five-year deal. The pay-TV provider covers multiple LaLiga matches each week, both live and on-demand on its linear and digital platforms, including its OTT provider TV4 Play. Subscribers looking to watch and stream LaLiga games must sign up for the “Sports” package.

Telia’s TV4 Media has extended its exclusive LaLiga media rights in Sweden and Finland from 2021 to 2026 following a five-year deal. The pay-TV provider covers multiple LaLiga matches each week, both live and on-demand on its linear and digital platforms, including its OTT provider TV4 Play.

Subscribers looking to watch and stream LaLiga games must sign up for the “Sports” package. They can choose from a monthly pay-as-you-go plan or an annual contract. Fans can also select “with advertising” or “without advertising”. However, the “without advertising” option still does allow for adverts on live broadcasts of matches.

LaLiga fans in Sweden and Finland can watch and stream matches and other bonus content, including game highlights on multiple platforms. Supported devices include: mobiles and tablets (Android and iOS), desktop and laptop computers (PCs and Macs in web browsers), smart TVs (Samsung, LG, Sony, Philips, and Hisense), streaming devices (Apple TV, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV Stick, Roku, and Chromecast), and gaming consoles.

Italy - Serie A

Football fans in Sweden can watch Italian Serie A matches live on TV4 Sports every match week throughout the season in a deal that runs until the end of the 2025-26 season. TV4 agreed to the current deal ahead of the 2024-25 season to allow users in Sweden to watch the likes of Napoli, Inter Milan and Juventus throughout the campaign via the subscription-based streaming platform, TV4 Sports.

The streaming service has secured rights to the league from the early 2020s up until 2031, meaning viewers can stream live Allsvenskan matches on TV4 Play via the internet from home or on the go. TV4 Play began streaming Allsvenskan after Telia, TV4’s former owner (Schibsted Media acquired the media company in February 2025), sublicensed the streaming rights from Warner Bros.
