Thanks to this deal, fans in Azerbaijan can watch, stream, and listen to live 2026 FIFA World Cup games on İctimai via its free-to-air İctimai TV channel, also known as İTV, or its radio station called “İctimai Radio,”.

Ictimai TV history, coverage, features
Ictimai TV is a free-to-air television channel available in Azerbaijan.The channel was created back in 2004 and started airing in 2005, when it became the first independent public broadcaster in the country.
Owned by the Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company, the channel is also part of the European Broadcasting Union and its programming predominantly focuses on news, entertainment and drama.
The channel has also previously owned the broadcast rights to select major sporting events. Most notably, recent editions of the FIFA World Cup, including the 2022 tournament hosted by Qatar.
Other international football matches featuring Azerbaijan have also been shown live on Ictimai TV in the past.
Live football coverage on Ictimai TV comes with Azerbaijani-language match commentary as standard. Some matches also feature pre- and post-match chat with a team of pundits and former players.
In addition to being available on linear television in Azerbaijan, football fans in the country can stream Ictimai TV for free through the Ictimai TV app, which can be downloaded for free onto smartphones, tablets and all other compatible iOS and Android devices.
