The League One playoff final is part of the live playoff action that closes out the domestic competition for the 2010-11 season.
The League Two final between Dagenham & Redbridge and Rotherham United will also be played at Wembley Stadium Sunday, May 30 at 10 a.m. ET/ 7 a.m. PT.
In League One both Norwich City and Leeds United have booked their spot in the Championship due to their respective first and second place finishes.
Millwall and Swindon Town will play for the final promotion slot after coming out on top in their two-match playoffs. Millwall scored a 2-0 aggregate win over Huddersfield Town, scoring both of their goals on their home pitch The New Den after the two clubs played to a scoreless draw at Huddersfield Town.
Swindon Town needed penalties in their playoff match-up with Charlton to advance to the final. Both clubs held home field with identical 2-1 wins but Charlton captain Nicky Bailey sailed his spot kick wide for the only miss by either side when the match went to penalties.
In League Two, both League champion Notts County and runner-up Bournemouth already have been promoted to League 1 leaving Rotherham United and Dagenham & Redbridge to battle for the final promotion spot.
Rotherham easily advanced with a 3-0 aggregate win in their two-match playoff with Aldershot. The Millers took the opening leg 1-0 on enemy ground thanks to an 88th minute goal by striker Adam Le Fondre. The 23-year old Stockport, England native also netted the opening goal in the return leg at Don Valley Stadium.
Dagenham & Redbridge playing in front of their home fans shocked Morecambe 6-0 in the opening leg of their playoff showdown. The Daggers lost the return match 2-1 but still advanced easily with a 7-2 aggregate advantage.
