The home team had enjoyed at least two clear chances of taking the win in the final moments of the match, but a deflection by Bruno Fernandes and a save by David De Gea kept the Red Devils alive. Unfortunately for Ten Hag's crew, a blatant handball by Luke Shaw was spotted by VAR officers and handed the penalty right away to the home team.
