An official bid is yet to be tabled for the Italian Serie A's hotshot.

Szymon Pacanowski, the agent of Genoa sensation Krzysztof Piatek, has revealed that no club has tabled a formal offer for the striker. The 23-year-old Polish striker who was relatively unknown off prior to the start of the new season has made waves across Europe with his goal scoring prowess.

Signed from Cracovia for just €4.5m in July, Piatek has shot to prominence by scoring 14 goals in 10 appearances for both club and country this season. As a result, his value has significantly risen with the likes of Chelsea, Paris Saint-German, Barcelona, Real Madrid, and AS Roma, among a host of others, all said to be monitoring his development.

"Many clubs have contacted us over the last few weeks, but I won't name them," agent Szymon Pacanowski told CalcioNapoli24.

"However, there has been no formal offer from any club, including Napoli.

"His value has certainly risen over the three months in Serie A, but right now we are happy to remain at Genoa."

A recent report by UK tabloid Express indicated that Chelsea was actively considering the prospect of bringing Krzysztof Piatek to the Stamford Bridge. The Blues are believed to be interested in paying a fee in the region of €50 million to secure the service of the forward in January with Alvaro Morata currently misfiring.

On the other hand, Barcelona has already deployed scouts in the Serie A to monitor the player. With Luis Suarez turning 32 in January, the Blaugrana is aiming to ease transition and further strengthen its attack.

As such, Piatek has been identified as a potential candidate for the role and a bid could be submitted although Barcelona is not considering the sale of Luis Suarez anytime soon.
