The NBC Sports Group will begin its coverage of the new English Premier League season on Friday, August 9.

NBC Sports Group has confirmed that the 2018/2019 EPL season's opening game between Manchester United and Leicester City will air live on its network. A pre-match show, Premier League Live, will set the tone before the match officially kicks off at 3: 00 p.m. ET.

Just as done yearly, NBC Sport's US-based Premier League team will travel to the UK to provide on-spot coverage. This time, the team will be present at different venues for four of the opening matches scheduled between August 9 and 12.

There will be on-site studios for pre-match, halftime and post-game shows and also pitch-side locations just a few feet from the playing fields at the selected venues. All the 2018/2019 Premier League matches will be televised on the networks of NBCUniversal, while live streams can be accessed on NBCSports.com, NBC Sports Gold "Premier League Pass," and also via the NBC Sports app.
