Interim coach Dave Sarachan decided to leave all the veterans at home. The USMNT won't be featuring household names such as Tim Howard, Michael Bradley or Clint Dempsey, and will leave all responsibilities to Christian Pulisic, Joe Corona and Jorge Villafaña, the only players in the squad with over 15 caps for the Stars and Stripes.
On the other side of the pitch, Bolivia's boss Mauricio Soria also called up a number of youngsters for this clash. Half of the team will be making its debut with La Verde, and it remains to be seen which one of their strikers can manage to score their first international goal, as Bruno Miranda, Rodrigo Vargas, Luis Alí, Ronaldo Sánchez and Leonardo Vaca are yet to add their names to Bolivia's list of international scorers.
