The world-record signing featured in the reverse Classique, which ended as a 2-2 draw, but was sent off. Should he participate from the outset as expected, it goes without saying that he will seek to make a better impression in front of his team's home fans.

As for the visitors, both Kostas Mitroglu and Steve Mandanda both remain absent through injury. Coach Rudi Garcia rotated his squad during their Europa League clash with Portuguese outfit Sporting Braga as Marseille already had one foot into the round of 16, so will be able to recall several key players, including Florian Thauvin and Dimitri Payet, as well as André-Frank Zambo Anguissa. Curiously enough, this will be the first of two meetings between PSG and Marseille in just two days, as the bitter rivals will lock horns a for a second time in the Coupe de France on February 28th.
