First off, Atlanta United host Columbus Crew at Mercedes-Benz Arena, trying to keep writing history as the first expansion team to feature in the postseason during their debut year since 2009's Seattle Sounders. Facing them will be one of the league's founding teams, which could end up playing in Austin next season due to the owner's desire, pending authorization from the league itself.
Be it as it may, we could be in for a historic match, as it could be the Crew's final game in the league.

Once the first match comes to an end, Houston Dynamo host Sporting KC. This will be the third meeting in the most recent weeks between these sides, and following each team's scores during Decision Day, fate will have them clash against each other once again.
This will be the fourth play-off matchup between these teams in history. Houston Dynamo defeated Sporting KC in 2011 and 2012 en route to two straight MLS Cup appearances, while Sporting KC got the best out of their hosts tonight during their 2013 clash.
Houston Dynamo's form has them walking into this game as favorites, but Rommel Quioto's absence could make it a close game to watch.
